In honor of the World War I Doughboy Soldier, Fort Benning Soldiers built a stadium
with money out of their own pockets to honor their own. In 1925, the Blue Tide Team
took on local colleges for five decades but eventually disbanded after troops were
shipped off to fight in the Vietnam War. And now the spirit of Fort Benning has returned
and the glory days of football have returned to Doughboy Stadium in Fort Benning,
Georgia and guess who provided this seasons uniforms….you guessed it…
